It is hard to see past IMPERO in the opener, with his latest success at Cheltenham working out well, given the second and third have emerged as subsequent winners. Back in novice company, this improving Irish raider should be able to complete the hat trick.
Tips: IMPERO

JOHNNY RINGO, MARINER, and SPARTAN WARRIOR are all interesting hurdle debutants to note. Each of them displayed decent form on the Flat, so instead of trying to nominate one, I’ll cover the bases with all three in the hope we can get through to the next stage of the column!
Tips: JOHNNY RINGO, MARINER & SPARTAN WARRIOR

DIVAS DOYEN deservedly opened her account under rules when seeing off a short-priced favourite at Carlisle last time out, and despite not being certain to back that up, she’s worth the chance. EUCHAN FALLS’ losing mount is continuing to mount, but he’s finished runner-up three times this year and should be thereabouts.
Tips: DIVAS DOYEN & EUCHAN FALLS

RESTANDBETHANKFUL has been in excellent form of late, recording a win and three runner-up efforts from his last four starts. If he can repeat his latest second behind Pay The Piper back in this sphere, I cannot see him out of the places, at the very least. HEART ABOVE is included as cover.
Tips: RESTANDBETHANKFUL & HEART ABOVE

GANAPATHI is worth an experiment over this trip, and if she stays, he must go well. He came close to winning here earlier in the year off a much higher mark in a better race, and this former classy horse is in a weak race off a career-low figure. He’s given one more chance to hopefully channel his inner ability to succeed. His best form would entitle him to thrash today’s field.
Tips: GANAPATHI

MALANGEN has been holding his form well of late despite being kept busy and only found one too good at Ayr last time out. He remains a pound below his last winning mark and must be competitive. TWOPLACESONETIME is another to consider, having won at Hexham three weeks ago.
Tips: MALANGEN & TWOPLACESONETIME
