Leg 1: Wolves To Have 4+ Shots On TARGET

We’re backing Wolves to rack up the shots on target here, not only off the back of their recent impressive form, but also on their consistency in hitting this mark throughout the season, even when the results were not going their way.

Wolves have had at least 4 shots on target in 12 of their 19 league games this season, including 6 of their 9 league games at Molineux. Four of their last 5 league games on home turf have seen them hit this line, with only high-flying Bournemouth preventing them from doing so. Aside from that clash with the Cherries, only Man City and Liverpool have held Wolves under this line away from home.

Nottingham Forest are in third place in the league, but they can be got at defensively. They have allowed 4 or more shots on target in 3 of their last 5 away league games in the league. Only against Leicester, Southampton, and Everton have Forest held an opponent to less than 3 shots on target in an away fixture this season.

lEG 2: jORGEN sTRAND lARSEN to hAVE 1+ shOTS oN tARGET

Wolves’ striker Jorgen Strand Larsen continues to offer strong value in the shot on target markets this season, with his slightly underwhelming goal tally perhaps contributing to his relatively high price to test the Matz Sels in the Nottingham Forest goal.

Larsen is averaging 1.06 shots on target per 90 in the Premier League, with only Mateus Cunha averaging more in a Wolves shirt this season. With Cunha now suspended for two games after an ill-advised elbow to the head of an Ipswich security guard after their clash last month, Larsen will be asked to step up in his absence.

That should aid his chances of hitting a shot on target here, something he has already done in 14 of his 19 Premier League appearances. On 4 occasions this season, Larsen has notched multiple shots on target in one game.

Larsen also tends to strike more often at home, scoring 5 of his 7 league goals at Molineux and notching 11 of his 18 shots on target on home soil. In his 9 starts at home in the league, Larsen has hit the target in 8 games, only failing to do so against runaway league leaders Liverpool.

Leg 3: Morgan Gibbs-white To Have 1+ Shots On Target

Nottingham Forest’s impressive first half of the season has been in no small part down to Morgan Gibbs-White. Whilst Chris Wood has taken most of the headlines, Gibbs-White is only slightly behind the New Zealander in terms of shots on target per 90, averaging 1.01 compared to Wood’s 1.09.

The recent England debutant has had a shot on target in 6 of his last 7 Premier League starts, including games against Man City, Aston Villa, and Tottenham. Gibbs-White also has 2 goals and 3 assists in his last 5 league starts, so the 24-year-old should be full of confidence as he prepares to face his former side.

Having been given limited opportunities in his time at Wolves, just 12 league starts in 4 Premier League seasons with the Black Country side, Gibbs-White will surely be keen to show what he can do as he returns with his new side sitting pretty in third place. He had 3 shots, 2 of which were on target in their earlier meeting at the City Ground, back in August.

Leg 4: Goncalo Guedes To Commit 1+ Fouls

Our final selection of the bet builder is a nice value pick from the fouls markets. Mateus Cunha’s suspension offers an opportunity for Goncalo Guedes to feature from the start here. The Portugal intenational has averaged 1.76 fouls per 90 in the Premier League this season.

Guedes has fouled 4 times in his last 2 league appearances, despite starting the second game on the bench. Against Man United, only his third league start of the season, Guedes committed 3 fouls.

Of Guedes’ 16 appearances in the league, 10 have seen the 28-year-old feature for 27 minutes or fewer. In the 6 games in which Guedes played 28 or more minutes, he has fouled on 4 occasions, fouling twice in 29 minutes against both Crystal Palace and West Ham respectively.

He will be up against Ryan Yates, who draws more fouls than any other Nottingham Forest player expected to start here, at 2.48 fouls won per 90. He will also be matched up against Ola Aina, who wins 1.15 fouls per 90 in the Premier League this season.
