Vampire Masquerade Chapters – how are all these cards supposed to be stored??

I’ve been unpacking this massive box to try to figure out how to play the game, and I am struggling to understand how the cards all fit in this box. What are the 1-4 slots for exactly? There are more than 4 levels of combat cards and more than 4 disciplines clans (also of note, the Discipline cards don’t comfortably fit in those side slots).

Also, while it seems like you CAN have the cards sit upright, it looks like the next layer of inserts would sit on top of them, putting pressure on them if they’re not sideways.

Please help me understand where things are supposed to go; the game seems rad, but it’s unclear where everything is supposed to fit.
