The fire officials said that the local police and rescue team were on the spot and the debris has been removed from the spot.
New Delhi: One person killed and two other suffered injuries after a wall of a Dargah collapsed in Delhi’s Nabi Karim area on Friday morning. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call regarding the incident at 7 am and three fire tenders were pressed into service. The official said that two persons were rescued from the spot while few remained trapped under the debris of the wall.
During the rescue efforts, one man was found beneath the debris. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. A local police officer confirmed that the incident occurred at approximately 6:45 AM.
The victim was identified as 35-year-old Rehmat, a native of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, Rehmat, who operated an e-rickshaw, lived in a temporary shelter built near the wall.

Two more persons were injured during the incident and are currently undergoing treatment. The fire officials said that the local police and rescue team were on the spot and the debris has been removed from the spot.
