Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe reportedly assured club President Florentino Perez that he would find his best form in the all-whites during his tough time acclimatising himself to La Liga since his blockbuster arrival to the Santiago Bernabeu at the start of the season.

Mbappe’s performances for the Los Blancos came under scrutiny as the French World Cup winner got off to a rough start at the Capital city club following his long drawn-out transfer sage which ultimately saw the 26-year-old make the switch from French champions PSG to Madrid.

Reports claim that Mbappe had vowed to Perez that his transfer to the Madrid heavyweights would not go down as a regrettable one.

“No one at Real Madrid will regret my signing,” Mbappe was quoted as saying by Marca.

The Frenchman reached 10 goals for Real in the ongoing season of the Spanish top flight in 16 outings thus far as he notched a goal and set up another in his side’s 4-2 thumping of Sevilla.

“I can score a lot more, I know I have a lot more to give,” Mbappe added.

“The last few games I’ve played better, I took a lot of positives from the Bilbao game. I missed a penalty and I realised at that moment I had to give my all for this shirt and play with my personality,” he reflected.

“I ask for only good things for all Real Madrid supporters and their families. Good things in my personal life because that’s the most important thing,” he continued.

“As a player, may it be better than 2024. Many titles, many performances like today’s and to enjoy playing for Real Madrid,” Mbappe added.
