Shivangi has set a new record in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. She is the first girl from the district to secure a job as a software engineer at Oracle, a US-based company.
To celebrate the New Year, people often go out to hotels, malls, and restaurants to party. But this time, something different happened in Kacheda village, Greater Noida. Instead of going out to celebrate, the villagers gathered at Master Dharampal’s residence.
A special New Year’s celebration was held on this occasion, which symbolized the success of a daughter.
The celebration was specially held to mark the success of Shivangi Nagar. Shivangi has set a new record in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. She is the first girl from the district to secure a job as a software engineer at Oracle, a US-based company, with a package of ₹1.8 crore. Oracle is ranked third among software companies worldwide.
Shivangi’s family background and education
Shivangi was born into an educationally inclined family. Her grandfather, Dharampal Singh, was a teacher in Delhi. Several family members, including her aunt and uncle, who are lecturers in the Delhi Education Department, are involved in the field of education. This environment served as a source of inspiration for Shivangi.
Her great-grandfather, Chaudhary Nathe Singh, was the village head (Pradhan) twice. When the Panchayati Raj system was introduced, he was unanimously elected as the Pradhan. Shivangi’s uncle, Bhoomesh Nager, also served as the village head from 2005 to 2010. Thus, Shivangi’s family has been at the forefront not only in education but also in serving the village.
Initially, Siemens Engineering Company in Mumbai appointed Shivangi as a software engineer. She then pursued her mission in education by completing her MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University in the United States.
Recognizing Shivangi’s talent as a software developer, Oracle Corporation in Austin, USA, offered her a job. In July last year, she was appointed as a software engineer at this prestigious IT company with an annual package of ₹1.8 crore.
Shivangi’s story is an inspiration, demonstrating that any goal can be achieved through education and hard work.
