Atari recently announced it will be the first company in the world to use the Co:Create platform to make Web3 gaming tokens. These assets will be the building blocks for the Atari X project.
“We are thrilled to be supporting Atari X’s token project,” said Tara Fung, the CEO of Co:Create, in a statement. “Their team is truly focused on bringing meaningful utility to their broader user base. This is exactly the use case we started Co:Create to serve. We couldn’t be more excited to have Atari as our first partner.”
Co:Create provides companies with the building blocks needed to create token rewards and utilities while also supporting ongoing projects that deliver community experiences. This platform can be used to design, deploy, and manage any brand’s native token via smart contracts and an easily-accessible dashboard. With the launch of Co:Create, brands like Atari can expand their presence in the Web3 space.
This recent partnership falls in line with Atari’s original plan for Atari X, the company’s dedicated Web3 platform. This will allow the organization to create newly-branded tokens for the Atari X ecosystem.
Co:Create is the first venture to come out of Gesso Labs. Founded earlier this year, the organization is backed by A16z crypto, VaynerFund, Not Boring Capital, Amy Wu, and the teams responsible for RTFKT and Tessera.
